Every Zelle and e-payment,
matched to the right person.

Upload your bank's payment history and your list of students, tenants, members, donors or clients. ePayRecon works out who each Zelle, ACH and Venmo payment is for — even when someone pays under another name — and you confirm it in a few keystrokes.

Free while it's new. Works with CSV, Excel and PDF statements from Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, TD, Capital One, PNC and most other banks.

From bank export to reconciled in four steps

For any organization that gets paid electronically — with the words, schedules and reports of your kind of organization.

Upload your list

Students, tenants, members or donors with the people who pay for them, from a spreadsheet or by pasting. Each gets an account number like EP-1042.

Upload payments

Your bank's activity export as CSV, XLS, XLSX or PDF. Overlapping statements are fine — duplicates are skipped.

Let it match

Account numbers in memos, parents' names, nicknames, reversed names and typos — then AI for the rest (on by default; one click turns it off). The AI only suggests matches; nothing is assigned until someone on your team approves it.

Review & export

Accept, reassign or split in a fast keyboard-friendly table. Then see who paid, who hasn't, and export to Excel.

Who it's for

One product, set up for your kind of organization: its words, its schedules, its reports.

Private by design

Payment histories and student lists are sensitive. ePayRecon is built so that they stay yours: encrypted, visible only to your organization, and deleted when you say so.

How we protect your data
  • We never sell, rent or share your data.
  • No advertising, no tracking pixels, no data brokers.
  • Your payment and student data is never used to train AI models.
  • Only you and the people you invite can see your organization's data.
  • Our staff do not look at your data.
  • Delete your data any time; after a 7-day undo window it's gone from our systems.

AI matching is on by default and can be turned off at any time, in Settings or on the upload screen. When it's on, only payer names, memo text with account and card numbers removed, and your list of names are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) — under terms that prohibit using it for training. The AI only suggests matches; nothing is assigned until someone on your team approves it. Switch it off and everything is matched on our own server. Details.

Why it matches more than a spreadsheet can

#

Account numbers in the memo

Every student gets a short number to type in the Zelle memo. "ep 1042", "EP1042" or just "1042" all match — and an optional check digit stops a typo from paying the wrong account.

≈

Names the way banks write them

"SMITH JOHN A", "Bill Jones" for William, "Garcia-Lopez" for Garcia, initials and middle names. Parents, guardians and grandparents each count.

↺

It learns your exceptions

Tell it once that a grandmother pays for a grandson and every later payment from her matches by itself, labelled as your rule.

⇆

Siblings and families

Split one payment across several children, or give a family one number that splits automatically.

⌨

Review at keyboard speed

Accept every high-confidence match at once, then j/k through the rest. Undo anything.

✓

Who hasn't paid

Totals by student for any period, the list of who has no payment yet, and printable "How to pay" notices for families.
